Life is the sum of many little things. We can’t cram wealth into our wallets in the form of plastic cards or colourful paper notes. Instead, we can surround ourselves with true, lasting wealth by appreciating the myriad of everyday, little things in our lives. These moments are precious commodities, and the more we are able to recognise this, the richer we will be. A riotous game of balderdash with friends. A good meal with family. Receiving a care package filled with different varieties of heirloom seeds, painstakingly saved and posted with love (thanks, Li-anne!). The thoughtful loan of a good book. A hug. The stars on a clear night. They all form an inexplicable currency – that of a happy, fulfilled life.
